A Middle Tennessee native, Houston was raised in the Old Hickory area and graduated from McGavock High School in Nashville. He attended Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville, TN and received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting in 2011. He was licensed as an EA in 2013 and has earned a reputation as a trusted source of knowledge in tax preparation, accounting, and business planning.
Houston and his wife, Theresa, have three young children. The family enjoys spending most of their free time in the outdoors. Depending on the season, they can be found in the field or on the water hunting, fishing, biking, canoeing, or gardening.
